Happy Happy Happy

Any Duck Dynasty fans??

My family has a lot to celebrate in the summer time. We have several anniversaries, along with a few birthdays. With the little bambina, its not always easy to just run out and grab a card so I thought I'd try my hand at making a card.

As you might have guessed, my Silhouette was involved again. This time I used the cutting feature as well as the printing one.
Using the Stencil font, I cut out the word "Happy." I also grabbed the banner picture from the Silhouette library. Then I used the black sketch pen in the SNF Party Lite font to write the word "Anniversary."

I couldn't figure out how to fill in the letters on the machine, so I just used the black sketch pen to color in the Anniversary letters. Simple enough!

I finished the card off with some washi tape to create a little border.
Caroline napped through the entire project, so I might stick with hand making cards from this point on! I better stock up on envelopes :)

Enjoy your weekend!

Thanks for reading,
Kathleen

  1. Not sure I'll get into creating the cards, but might give it a try for Christmas. As long as I keep it simple it should be OK. I can't believe how much fun these machines are. :)
